How to Create a Wire
Ok, before we start you will need this gradient that I made for the pipe end. Take the Pen Tool and make your shape for your wire. Take the Freedom Pen Tool and close your wire shape at each end. Now right click on the work area and select Make Selection.

Put the color you want for your wire as your foreground color. Now create a new layer now go to Edit >> Stroke and use these setting.

Take the Square Marquee Tool and delete the parts that you don't need in the shape. Now go to Layer >> layer Style >> Bevel and Emboss and use the default settings. (You can stop here if you don't want the inter pipe showing, also you can add a drop shadow if you want.)

Take the Polygonal Lasso Tool , your going to have to zoom in to about 800% and make a shape like the one in the image to your right.

Take the Gradient Tool and use the gradient you downloaded early in this tutorial and fill the marquee with it. You also may need to touch up the pipe ends a little. Well there you have it. :)
