Microsoft is going to release a version of Windows for tablets before the end of the year according to Bloomberg.

Rush of the press concerning this release is due in part to it's current Windows 7 failing to be extendable to work for touch screen devices such as tablets. There are also questions surrounding the time frame. Microsoft took a long while fixing issues and getting out the new Mobile Windows 7. Will Microsoft have have another botched release especially for a whole new device type while Apple's iOS and Honeycomb by Google have a firm lead on the market? We won't know until... well we can't even trust their launch dates.
